Music Marathon is an organization led by music students that raises
money for access to music education in local communities. Students
participate by raising money from friends and family to perform at the
annual Music Marathon event, at which music is performed continuously
for 3 hours or more. (The Music Marathon will be held at Omaha Conservatory of Music). 100%
of all funds raised go directly to the Sprouts program at Omaha Conservatory of Music! Join us on April 14th at the Music Marathon event and help support music education!
The music marathon will consist of 3 hours of continuous music performed by young musicians. During these three hours there will be solos, jams, and a drawing! The goal is to have each person not only support the Sprouts program, but also support the Omaha Conservatory of Music's Sprouts program.
The Sprouts program is a music education program founded in 2013 by the Omaha Conservatory of Music. The program provides viola, violin, cello, and bass lessons for children ages 3-8. The families participating pay little to no cost, and are provided with the instruments.
